Whitehorse RV     Nadia met me a the airport. Our mode of transportation was Yellow Cab 99.We went out to the RV Park and relaxed. We then went to town and toured the local museum. We then as a great steak dinner.

Whitehorse to Skagway RV Depart

We toured the Beringia Exhibit and left Whitehorse about 11:00. We stopped at various pullouts and then at Carcross (formerly Caribou Crossing) for lunch and walking around. We arrived at Skagway about 5 pm. We went to Dinner at the Red Onion. Most of the shops were closed. We then went to a musican review about Soapy Smith, formerly of Denver.

  In the morning, I hiked to Lower Dewey Lake while Nadia worked around the RV and moved it to the Ferry Dock waiting line.We had a nice lunch at a Chinese restaurant.We toured the shops and museums. We got in the RV, already in line, at 6:45. We got on the Ferry about 8 pm and dined inthe dining room.

In Sitka, I took a tour and Nadia took the shuttle. On the tour, I went Sitka National Historical Park and shopping downtown.

In Ketichan, we went to Totem Heritage Center by Taxi. We walked to Creek Street via the "Married Man's Way," had lunch, and then visited some shops.

  On our day "at sea," we attended talked by Rachel, our Forset Service Naturalist, whose lectures were always nteresting. we also viewed a movie on the destruction of Ripple Rock in 1953.

Bellingham, WA Betsy's House     In Bellingham, we stayed with my firend, Betsy. On Friday we had lunch with her family and toured the Fairhaven part of Bellingham.

Bellingham, WA and Lummi Island Betsy's House     We went by ferry (again!) to Lummi Island to an Open Studio event. We had lunch there and a great time.
