Calf
Creek
Falls

The trail followed the creek which mostly ran swiftly but occasionally pooled.

Approaching the falls, the trail leveled out onto a sandy area with trees and grass. You could feel the cold coming off the falls.

It was a hot day and a great place to cool off.

Watching the falls after a 3 hour hike was a pleasure.

The day we drove out of the park, we stopped and took this picture of the canyon looking back and down. You can see the trail on the far side of the valley floor.

Warm and clear and beautiful
The trail was gradual and followed a "box" canyon. It was a scenery that would look good in a western movie. At the end of the hot hike, the area but the falls was about 15 degrees cooler and we actually got cold.
